The main inspiration was the collection Escapism of Iris Van Herpen. I was fascinated by how she could create a couture collection using a 3D printer instead of traditional fabrics. Her intricate designs inspired me to create the effect obtained by the 3D printer while using only fabric. The garment developed resembles a ballerina while having the “3D printer” effect on the shoulders.
