About Maris

I am an artist, designer, a problem solver and a thinker. As a designer I am always keen on learning from new experiences. After finishing my Degree in 3D Design and Interiors, I started working in furniture retail where I acquired a better understanding of clients and their needs. Although my love for vintage and Industrial design will never cease, I learnt that design is in constant evolution. Like for example, for whom is it targeted? How can it be more efficient? How can the design be more accessible?

After dabbling a bit in content creation, I developed a love for interactive design. I was fascinated by how layouts, graphics and photographs build a brand; how they tell a story and form a user-base. Subsequently, I took courses in Graphic Design, Website Design and Digital Marketing, which led to my refocusing in a career in that area.
