TV Set Design

This TV set design was created for the programme Int Min Int?, a programme directed by students of MCAST Art and Design.

My main inspiration came from skateparks; concrete floors, iron bars, opaque glass and geometric shapes. My idea was to create a simple TV studio in which one can play with lighting shows and create different atmospheres according to the people being interviewed. I wanted to create a versatile set which can be transformed either into a calm area, where interviews can be held, or a stage for bands to perform. With the right lighting, the set could give the illusion of the band playing in a concert.
